Baptist Hospital West
Originally designed for Baptist Healthcare and completed in 2003, Barber McMurry led the design and construction of two hospitals and a medical office building on the Baptist West campus in just twenty-four months.
The main hospital and specialty women's hospital were designed for simple horizontal and vertical expansion. The design features extensive glazing to introduce natural light into the clinical spaces, as well as a cutting-edge central healing garden for patients and families. A central atrium and expansive, circular canopy serves as a welcoming front door to the campus.
