Rocky Top Sports World

From the outset, the design of Rocky Top Sports World aimed to deliver a youth sports destination facility to support Sevier County tourism.

In its first ten years, the 80-acre complex exceed all expectations — with an economic impact of $400 million, more than 140,000 visitors every single year, and an estimated 1 million hotel rooms booked. The facility was voted 6th best indoor sports venue in the U.S. by the Amateur Athletic Union. Rocky Top hosts lacrosse, football, soccer, basketball, volleyball, cheer, and martial arts.

The design incorporates custom architectural detailing to an economical pre-engineered metal building. Details of stacked stone and exposed timber call to mind the region's architectural vernacular, while neutral, bright interiors inject modernity to the space. The complex includes 7 turf fields, 10 hardwood courts, a full-service cafe, team and private meeting rooms.
